The only thing this campground has going is location. The grounds are poorly maintained. The roads are narrow and full of ruts. Large stones and other useless obstructions are throughout the park making it hazardous to maneuver a 37 foot fifth wheel trailer. Ditches, stones and saplings make backing into campsites difficult. Overhead trees will damage your roof accessories. They have no restrictions about how loud a generator can be. The people next to us had a large construction generator and when I complained to rangers they said I could move. I will not return until they decide to make some improvements.

This is a small, but very nice campground. The owners are great hosts. You feel like a guest in a 5 star resort. Melissa met us at the entrance, led us to the site and helped us back in. Very convenient to downtown Helen. Will certainly go back to Creekwood on our next trip to the area. Wi-Fi was not yet operating but owners say it soon will be.

Great staff. Very helpful and friendly. They helped us a lot with planning and reservations for activities during our stay. All lots were nice and level, some shaded and some in the open. The pool area was clean and well kept. Store was well stocked. We just stumbled on this campground without reservations, but plan to visit again on our next trip.

Spent one night here based on the very high ratings in the TL and Woodall guides. Employees were nice enough, but the campground was a dump. The pull thru site we were assigned was poorly designed and difficult to access with a fifth wheel. There were full timers right in the middle of the campground with unsightly junk and clothes lines. The advertised pool was one of those round, four foot, above ground backyard models. There were several old broken down cars and several old rusty trailers stored in the middle of the campgground. In spite of the negative points, there were a few nice sites located on the San Juan River. This place definitely didn't deserve the ratings.
